Ad Guidelines:

  1. I suggest making reservations in advance as the first 50 pages fill up very fast.

  2. To place an Ad please send via e-mail the information about your dog and your photos (in .jpg or .gif format) and any other instructions to essiobhan@cox.net

  3. Ads to be done by me must arrive by the deadline, unless you have arranged another deadline with me. 

  4. For ads done by other designers, I need you to let me know how many and for who you will be submitting ads in advance of the deadline, I will then send you your deadline.   

  5. I bill right after I publish, if you have not already paid for your ad you will receive a PayPal invoice, this does NOT mean you have to pay via PayPal, my mailing address is on the invoice if you prefer to mail. 

  6. My usual template is an 8.5 x 11 in standard sheet of paper, if you want too many pictures or a lot of text requiring a larger ad, I will charge and additional $10.   

  7. The typical 8.5 x 11 page will easy hold one large picture and an inset, the registered and call name of the dog, breeder/owner information, health clearance information, and a couple of sentences.

  8. To scan an ad photo, please scan at 300 dpi, lower resolutions appear grainy or fuzzy when published, I can fix a lot of things, but poor resolution I can’t fix. 

  9.  Send your files in a .pdf or .jpg format. 

  10. If you want to mock up your ad in Word fine, but remember all ads are done in Photoshop, I cannot put your Word ad as you sent it into the magazine, I will have to recreate. 

  11. Do not embed you photo’s in a Word document, send as a separate attachment, please. 

  12. If you send me photo’s to scan for you please include return postage, I will return within in a week or so after I publish.   

  13. To assign the covers, I will create a list in the order people request the first page, when one is available, I will notify and offer the cover to the person at the top of the list, if they pass, I will offer to the next person.  I can no longer guarantee in advance specific issues.

  14. The National issue cover will always be offered to the winner of the show

How do I use PayPal?

If you have a PayPal account, you can send your donation by following these steps:

  •   Log in to your PayPal account.
  •   Click the Send Money tab.
  •   Fill out the form.
  •   Click Continue.
  •   Review the details of the payment, including the payment method.
  •   Click Send Money to send the payment.

If you do not yet have a PayPal account, you can send your donation with PayPal by following these steps:

  •   Visit https://www.paypal.com.
  •   Click the Send Money tab.
  •   In the Send Money box:
  •   Fill in the recipient's email address or phone number
  •   Fill in your email address
  •   Fill in the amount in U.S. Dollars
